I’m proud to be hosting the Business Mums Blog Carnival for this month. The carnival originated from Helen at Business Plus Baby and is wonderful way of sharing and interacting with other business mum bloggers. So grab a cuppa and come and read through the great selection of blog posts I have received for this month.

Grace, from Grace Marshall talks about how we compare ourselves with others and the importance of your behind the scenes efforts to ensure your future success in her inspiring post Digging Ditches.

Elaine from Littlesheep Learning had an exciting day when she received the #WOW business award. #WOW or Women on Wednesday is a Twitter award from  Jacqueline Gold (Ann Summers.) Another similar award is the #SBS, Small Business Sunday award from Theo Paphitis (Dragon’s Den)

Then we have a couple of more personal posts. Helen from Memoirs of a Baby Signing Teacher in an inspiring post talks about how she took her first steps into the world of baby signing and the importance of taking small steps to make greater journeys. And another Helen from The Hub talks about the snow from last Christmas and how she is preparing this year to go the extra mile to keep her customers satisfied.

Are you going away this Christmas? Not something I’ve ever done and I do think of the hassle of taking the kids on long journeys, but not to fear because Julia from Kids Travel2 has some excellent tips to avoid stressful travel with children this Christmas.
