Kym Marsh has baby 5 weeks early

Congratulations to Kym Marsh  (Coronation Street Actress) who gave birth to her baby daughter Polly earlier this week.
Polly was born 5 weeks early and weighed in at 4lb 1oz, she is little sister to siblings David -15, Emily-12, and Kym’s partner Jamie Lomas’ son, Billy-4.

Kym had a baby son Archie in 2009 who was stillborn when he arrived 18 weeks early. Over 80,000 babies are born prematurely every year in the UK. Bliss is the only national charity dedicated to improving both the survival and long-term quality of life for babies born too soon, too small or too sick to cope on their own. In action for more than 30 years Bliss has supported a generation of special care babies. The outcome for these babies has improved radically, in 1979 only 1 baby in every 5 born at less than 2lb survived. Today it’s 4 out of 5.
